This morning, I was peaceful and content as I rode the bus into town. I’m not gonna feel like that for a long time.

This was the most challenging day at work so far. Holy. Student breakdowns, rocketing down halls, presenting on the fly, and tensions about employee involvement in student organizations. Oh man.
I suddenly felt like my parents, rattling on about job stress during my drive home. “Student services are for support, but there’s a point where an employee can’t be involved anymore....
